How laser hair removal works here

Your treatment uses two laser sources rather than one, so the settings can be matched to the area being treated rather than fixed in advance. The practitioner selects the appropriate settings after assessing the treatment area, skin characteristics and hair.

Dual-source platform Individual settings
755 nm Alexandrite
1064 nm Nd:YAG
Wavelength and treatment parameters are selected by the practitioner.

Two wavelengths, one treatment plan

Laser hair removal works by targeting pigment in the hair follicle. Because hairs grow in cycles, treatment is planned as a course rather than a single appointment.

Alexandrite + Nd:YAG

Goal

Long-term reduction

The aim is progressive, long-term reduction in hair growth rather than a promise of permanent removal.

What happens during a laser hair removal course

A course is generally around 6–8 sessions, spaced approximately 4–6 weeks apart, with the timing individualised to you.

01 · Prepare

Shave, don't wax

Shaving is compatible with treatment. Waxing and plucking remove the follicle target and should be avoided before the course.

02 · Assess

Choose settings

Skin, hair and recent sun exposure are reviewed before the laser settings are selected.

03 · Treat

Target the follicles

Laser energy is delivered across the selected area. Session length depends on the amount of coverage.

04 · Repeat

Follow the growth cycle

Further sessions target hairs entering a treatable growth phase over time.

Laser Hair Removal FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions about Laser Hair Removal

01 Is laser hair removal permanent?

It is better described as long-term hair reduction. Some regrowth can occur and maintenance may be useful.

02 How many sessions will I need?

We generally advise around 6–8 sessions, but the number varies with the area, hair growth and how your hair responds.

03 Can I shave between sessions?

Yes. Shaving is generally suitable between treatments; waxing and plucking should be avoided because they remove the follicle target.

04 Can I have laser hair removal in summer?

Laser hair removal may be possible, but tanning and sun exposure matter. Tell the practitioner about recent sun exposure and follow their sun-protection guidance.

05 What side effects can occur?

Temporary redness, swelling around follicles or irritation can occur after laser hair removal.

06 How do I choose a package?

Choose based on the number and size of areas you want treated. The team can advise whether 15, 30 or 60 minutes is realistic for your plan.

07 How much does laser hair removal cost in Malta?

Packages are priced by session length. Six sessions of 15 minutes is €129, six of 30 minutes is €245, and six of 60 minutes is €389. A one-hour option is €99, which can be split into two 30-minute sessions. Every price is published on this page.
