Eyebrow Shaping & Tinting in Malta

A low-commitment way to refine your natural brows. Shaping tidies and balances the brow line, while tinting temporarily adds colour and definition to the hairs you already have.

The treatment

Work with the brows you already have.

Eyebrow shaping and tinting is a grooming treatment rather than a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo. We refine the natural brow outline and, when tinting is chosen, temporarily deepen the appearance of the existing hairs.

01

Cleaner shape

Remove unwanted hairs and refine the natural brow outline.

02

Better balance

Small adjustments can improve balance while respecting natural differences.

03

More definition

Tint can make lighter and finer natural brow hairs easier to see.

04

Low commitment

The result is temporary and suited to regular brow maintenance.

Eyebrow shaping

Your natural brow is the starting point.

Your existing growth pattern, thickness and facial proportions guide the shape. The aim is not to force two perfectly identical brows, but to make the natural brows look cleaner and more balanced.

01
Look at natural growth

We assess where the brow naturally starts, arches and finishes.

02
Refine rather than over-remove

Only the hairs needed to tidy and balance the outline should be removed.

03
Keep your preferences in mind

Tell us if you are growing out an area or prefer a fuller, softer brow.

Eyebrow tinting

Temporary colour. More visible natural hairs.

Tinting adds colour to the brow hairs that are already present. It can make lighter or finer hairs more noticeable and give the overall brow greater definition. It does not create new hairs or implant pigment into sparse skin.

Natural Subtle definition
Balanced Visible but soft
Defined Stronger contrast
Your appointment

Simple, considered brow grooming.

The appointment varies according to whether you choose shaping, tinting or both. Your brows and preferred finish are reviewed before treatment begins.

01

Discuss

Tell us how you normally wear your brows and how defined you want them.

02

Assess

Your natural growth, brow thickness and overall balance are considered.

03

Shape & tint

The outline is refined and, when selected, tint is applied to the natural hairs.

04

Review

The finished brows are checked and simple maintenance advice is discussed.

Aftercare

No microblading-style healing period.

Eyebrow shaping and tinting does not involve semi-permanent pigment being placed into the skin. The aftercare is therefore much simpler. Some temporary pinkness or mild sensitivity can occur after hair removal.

Immediately afterwards

The skin around freshly shaped areas may look temporarily pink or feel mildly sensitive.

Maintenance

Natural hairs continue to grow and tint gradually fades, so repeat timing varies between clients.

Which brow treatment?

Shaping & tinting or microblading?

They solve different problems. One works with your natural brow hairs; the other creates the appearance of additional hair-like strokes using semi-permanent pigment.

Shaping & tinting

Temporary brow maintenance.

Best suited when you already have natural brow hairs to work with and want grooming, balance and temporary colour.

Microblading

Semi-permanent hair-like strokes.

Microblading is a different treatment with its own suitability, pigment process, healing period and aftercare.

FAQs

Common questions

The key things to know when deciding whether temporary shaping and tinting is the right brow treatment for you.

01 What is the difference between shaping and tinting?
Shaping refines the outline by removing unwanted hairs. Tinting temporarily adds colour to the natural brow hairs.
02 Is eyebrow tinting permanent?
No. Brow tint gradually fades. How quickly this happens varies with hair growth, cleansing, skincare and individual factors.
03 Can tinting fill gaps in sparse brows?
Tint can make existing fine or light hairs more visible, but it cannot create new hairs. Microblading is a separate option when semi-permanent hair-like strokes are wanted.
04 Will both eyebrows look exactly the same?
Natural brows are not perfectly identical. Shaping aims to improve balance while respecting your natural growth and facial proportions.
05 Is there downtime?
There is generally no significant downtime, although temporary redness or mild sensitivity can occur after hair removal.
06 How is this different from microblading?
Shaping and tinting works with and colours the natural brow hairs. Microblading uses semi-permanent pigment to create fine strokes that visually resemble additional eyebrow hairs.
